
1st MEETING FOR THE LIBERATION OF INDIGENOUS AND BLACK PEOPLES AGAINST EXCLUSION, DISCRIMINATION AND THE DEFENSE OF TERRITORY
The Black Indigenous Liberation Movement (BILM) is a movement that promotes the recognition, respect and full exercise of the rights of Indigenous, Black and Afro-descendant communities in the whole American continent. It is composed of a coalition of grassroots organizations, and other allies located throughout the continent from Brazil to Argentina,
Colmena Lab provided BILM services including communication, facilitation, organization and systematization for the 1st Meeting for the Liberation of Indigenous and Black Peoples Against Exclusion, Discrimination and the Defense of Territory, in which took into account what was discussed during the different working sessions, open dialogues regarding Climate and Racial Justices, and Historical Reparations. It also organized a press conference as well as two keynote speeches, and participated during the drafting of the 2022 Movement Declaration.
The following elements were developed:

Strategic consulting for the conceptualization and operation of an international event.

Preparation and management of press releases that resulted in more than 60 press releases in national, regional and global media.

Drafting of a methodology for the facilitation of internal working groups and international panels.

Systematization for the 1st Meeting for the Liberation of Indigenous and Black Peoples Against Exclusion, Discrimination and the Defense of Territory,

Drafting of a participatory declaration of anti-colonial resistance in which more than 60 leaders from all over the Americas participated.
