BILM Memory

The Black Indigenous Liberation Movement (BILM) is a movement that promotes the recognition, respect and full exercise of the rights of Indigenous, Black and Afro-descendant communities in the whole American continent. It is composed of a coalition of grassroots organizations, and other allies located throughout the continent from Brazil to Argentina,  

 

Colmena Lab provided BILM an editorial service for the outlining, writing, elaboration and layout of a magazine in three languages, Spanish, English and Portuguese, in which it summarizes and presents the first years of the movement, its achievements, main actions, interviews and political agenda.

 

The following elements were developed:

• Structuring and outlining the magazine and its sections.

• Text writing.

• Translation into two languages.

• Interviews to different figures of the movement.

• Design and layout of the magazine.
