POSITIONING CAMPAIGN FOR THE COMMUNITY FORESTRY MODEL IN COLOMBIA
The Regional Program for Research on Development and Environment (PRISMA) is an organization specialized in generating scientific information to strengthen the participation of local and territorial stakeholders.
Its work extends across Central America, Mexico and Colombia. PRISMA is especially recognized for its research related to the vital contribution of communities and the political ecosystem around them in the management of community forests.
The Colmena Lab team developed a communication and advocacy campaign through digital media focused on Mesoamerican and Colombian audiences for the purpose of positioning the community forestry model, already successful in Mesoamerica, as an effective alternative for conserving Colombia's forests and generating livelihoods for the communities that care for and depend on them, by disseminating the scientific studies of the PRISMA Foundation's Forestry Program in digital media.
The following products were developed:
-
Communication and advocacy strategy.
-
Digital community development.
-
Digital stakeholder mapping.
-
Digital campaign.
We worked together with the PRISMA Foundation to carry out this campaign.
