INTERNATIONAL WORKING GROUP (GTI PIACI)

The International Working Group for the Protection of Indigenous Peoples in Isolation and Initial Contact (GTI-PIACI) is a diverse group, made up of Indigenous organizations, civil society organizations and individuals committed to the protection, defense and promotion of the rights of these Peoples in the Amazon and Gran Chaco regions.

 

During 2021, Colmena Lab provided the following services:

 

  • Digital strategy development through collaborative work sessions with the communication delegates of the 15 organizations from the 8 countries that make up the Working Group.

  • Content creation for digital media focused on promoting the status and respect for the rights of Indigenous Peoples in Isolation.

  • Infographics and videos creation focused on the main threats faced by Indigenous Peoples in Isolation as part of the launching of infographic maps.

  • Media kit creation and dissemination for the launch of the maps on the main threats faced by Indigenous Peoples in Isolation.

  • Advisory services for the preparation of inputs and communication materials for the promotion of the Working Group at the United Nations Climate Change Summit (COP26). 

  • Promotional materials creation such as brochures, roll up, contents and videos for the United Nations Climate Change Summit (COP26).

  • Preparation of organizational presentations for the presentation of the Working Group's side event at the United Nations Climate Change Summit (COP26).
