In preparation for COP16, we set out to strengthen the role of organizations in Latin America in the protection of biodiversity by designing a strategy that would ensure real impacts at the world’s largest biodiversity event.

As part of this initiative, we launched COP16 INSIDER, a free information and analysis service. Through this initiative, we distributed key news and produced specialized articles in various formats, generating thousands of inquiries and interactions.

This effort has been crucial in helping Indigenous leaders, government representatives, technical experts, and specialists better understand the summit, its implications, and how to maximize their impact and leadership in this space.

Our Impact

In our strategic approach to COP16, we achieved several key milestones that strengthened our impact and increased the visibility of Latin American organizations at the summit:

  • Interactions and Visibility. Through COP16 INSIDER, we achieved a total of 5,200 views and 7,600 interaction events, highlighting the interest and active participation of our audience in the shared content.

  • User Loyalty. We achieved a loyalty rate of 46.5%, reflecting ongoing interest in our service and in following the summit.

  • Engagement Time. The average interaction time per user was 4 minutes and 12 seconds, indicating that the generated content kept users engaged.

  • Reach. Our specialized articles and analysis generated a deeper understanding of COP16 and its implications, helping Indigenous leaders, government representatives, technical experts, and specialists maximize their impact and leadership at the event.
