Our Consortium

The consortium between the Sotz’il Association (Guatemala) and Colmena Lab (Costa Rica and Ecuador) aims to make available to our clients and allies a specialized value proposition in areas of communication, advocacy, journalism, capacity building, and interculturality.

Both the Sotz’il Association and Colmena Lab have extensive experience working alongside Indigenous Peoples, their organizations and networks, locally and internationally, in areas such as technical assistance, capacity building, advocacy and communication. Through this consortium, the Sotz’il Association and Colmena Lab seek to offer consistent, transparent and orderly technical, administrative and financial processes that comply with international standards.

The alliance between Colmena Lab and Sotz’il already has a history of successful projects, providing value-added services for various allies which make visible the contribution of the Indigenous Peoples of Latin America in the conservation of forests and biodiversity.
