The Mesoamerican Alliance of Peoples and Forests (AMPB) is a coordination and exchange space for territorial authorities that manage or influence the main forest masses of Mesoamerica. Indigenous governments and community forest organizations from nine countries in the region participate in the Alliance.
Within the framework of participation in the AMPB, the Colmena Lab team conducted a digital campaign focused on Mesoamerican audiences to position messages, provide coverage of participation, and engage in political advocacy in order to highlight the importance of Indigenous Peoples in conserving forests and mitigating the effects of climate change. It was launched during the 25th United Nations Climate Change Conference held in Madrid, Spain.
