The Water Protection Fund is an alliance of individuals, institutions, and communities committed to the conservation and restoration of water sources in the Metropolitan District of Quito.

With short-term, organic, and differentiated digital campaigns, the Colmena Lab team supported the positioning of the FONAG program as a reference for scientific information among national audiences by showcasing its positive impacts against the main threats for Quito’s páramos and water sources.

Colmena Lab developed the following campaigns:

• Ecuador Without Fires: Strengthening the national campaign for the prevention and management of forest fires

• The Páramo is also the Amazon: Positioning the role of the páramos in ensuring the health of the Amazon

• Quito Green Again - Páramos of Pichincha: Campaign for the prevention and denunciation of the main threats to the páramos of Pichincha
